- Prices for poles do not include freight. Go to our get quote page to request a quote for the total price including shipping.
- When a flagpole is shipped by common carrier, it is shipped f.o.b. warehouse or factory. The common carrier is responsible for delays in delivery or any damage during shipment. Therefore, if a pole is received that appears to be damaged or if the package is wet, your receiving personnel should make an appropriate note on the bill of lading before signing it. As the customer, you would then need to file a claim with the carrier for the damages.
- Your receiving personnel should keep the pole dry until unpacked or unwrapped. The brown dye in the packaging material will "bleed" onto the pole if the packaging material becomes wet. Removing this dye from the pole may damage the finish of the pole.
- If there are any questions regarding shipment of the pole, please do not hesitate to contact Discount-Flag-Poles. We can provide your receiving personnel with a tracking number (generally referred to as a PRO number) and a telephone number for the common carrier delivering the pole.
